This Cookie Policy explains how Carvia uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on its website and platform.
In the European Union, including Slovenia, Carvia keeps optional analytics disabled until the visitor gives consent. Necessary storage is used without consent only where it is required to provide the requested service.

Types of storage
Carvia uses the following categories:
- Necessary storage: Supports login, security, session continuity, language, and the saved privacy choice.
- Optional analytics: Helps us understand product usage and improve Carvia only after consent.
- Marketing: Carvia does not currently activate advertising or remarketing through this preference center.
Necessary storage
Necessary cookies and browser storage cannot be switched off in the preference center when they are required for service delivery.
- authentication and session continuity;
- CSRF protection, abuse prevention, and other security controls;
- load balancing, infrastructure stability, and failover;
- the dated and versioned privacy choice saved in this browser.
Preferences
Preference storage remembers choices such as language and interface state. A preference that is required to provide a feature you request is treated as necessary; optional tracking is not.
Analytics
Carvia uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for consented semantic events and Contentsquare for consented product-experience analysis.
Analytics remains off before a choice and after refusal. When enabled, Carvia sends normalized page paths and approved categorical events. Tenant IDs, vehicle IDs, password-reset tokens, and query values are removed before tracking.
Typical analytics storage after consent
Marketing
Carvia does not currently enable advertising, audience-building, or remarketing technologies through this consent interface. If that changes, this preference center and policy must be updated before activation, and a new consent choice may be requested.
Third-party technologies
Google and Contentsquare process consented analytics under their own privacy terms and our configured service controls. Payment, login, or embedded providers may use storage that is strictly necessary for a feature you explicitly request.

Manage your choice
You can manage storage and analytics:
- through the first-visit banner or the persistent Privacy settings control on public Carvia pages;
- through Product analytics in Profile after signing in;
- through browser controls that block or delete cookies and local storage.
Choosing Necessary only does not block access to Carvia. Revoking analytics takes effect immediately for new tracking activity in this browser. Blocking necessary storage may affect login, security, or core functionality.
Changes
We may update this policy for legal, technical, or operational changes. Material changes update the date above and may require a new consent choice.
