Commitment
Carvia aims to make its website and platform more accessible and usable for as many people as reasonably possible, including people using assistive technologies or alternative input methods.
This statement applies to the Carvia web application and associated public pages available under carvia.io.
Accessibility Standard
We aim to work toward conformance with generally recognized accessibility principles, including WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and to consider relevant European accessibility expectations such as EN 301 549 where applicable.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Some areas of the website or application may not yet fully meet these standards at all times, especially while features are being updated or while third-party components are in use.
Measures We Take
We aim to support accessibility through measures such as:
- using semantic structure and clear page hierarchy where reasonably possible;
- supporting keyboard navigation for core interactions;
- using text labels, alternative descriptions, or accessible names for important controls;
- considering contrast, spacing, focus visibility, and responsive behavior during UI updates;
- reviewing new interface changes and reported issues as part of ongoing product improvement.
Known Limitations
Some parts of the Services may currently have accessibility limitations. This may include complex dashboards, charts, media-heavy flows, modal interactions, or newly released components that still require refinement.
AI-generated or user-uploaded content may also contain inaccessible text, poor contrast, embedded text inside images, or visual artifacts that are outside our full editorial control. Users should review customer-facing content before publishing it externally.
Third-Party Content and Services
Certain features may rely on third-party providers such as payment tools, login providers, analytics tools, embedded media, or social integrations. We do not control every aspect of those third-party interfaces and cannot guarantee their ongoing accessibility conformance.
Where practical, we try to choose providers that support accessibility and to offer alternative support when a third-party component causes a material issue.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need information in an alternative format, or want to report a usability issue, contact us at [email protected].
When reporting an issue, it helps to include the page URL, device or browser, and a short description of what did not work.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may seek advice or raise the matter with the competent body in your jurisdiction. If the issue also involves personal data processing, users in Slovenia may contact the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.
